I'm Sami Shahzad, a web developer working with small businesses, agencies and founders who need a site that actually does its job — not just one that looks good in a preview.
I started building websites six years ago, learning the fundamentals through HTML, CSS and Bootstrap before moving into WordPress and Squarespace, where most of my work lives today. Somewhere around the second year, I picked up PHP and later Laravel, so I could take on projects that needed real logic behind the page — bookings, forms that do something, dashboards, custom back-ends.
Since then I've delivered more than 200 websites, most of them on WordPress and Squarespace, for clients across food and beverage, hospitality, advertising, retail, nonprofits and healthcare. My approach hasn't changed much since day one: understand what the business actually needs the site to do, keep the build clean enough that the client can manage it themselves, and ship something that still works well a year later.
Learned HTML, CSS and Bootstrap, and started building static front-ends for small local clients.
Moved into full site builds on WordPress and Squarespace, and started taking on recurring clients.
Added PHP and Laravel to the toolkit to handle custom logic that page builders couldn't.
